Yeah...yeah...

"Yeah, yeah... I remember now. That's gotta be the 300th time today! I'm gonna
clip my fingernails instead."

Maybe that's a little unclear..

Your train-of-thought stays on the same track because you forgot you've already
thought about it (many times) before.

Here's what happened to my -box- when it was first introduced to nonduality/no-self/neo advaita and that kinda stuff;

"Who Me?
Yes You!
You?
"You" "Who?"
Not me.
Couldn't be!"

Over and over and over and over.

It's...as they say...All In Your Head

If humans didn't have such a bad memory, then they might have had an easier time seeing what life is all about.

Their situation now goes a little something like this:

Two plus...what was I adding again? Did I already add two? Two plus (forget) two plus (forget) two plus (forget) two plus (forget)

(Those humans.....Few of them ever get anywhere, as they are content just spinning their wheels. Maybe it's because few of them remember what they set out to do!)

(And few of them ever set out to do anything.)

A mystic knows when he's making progress when things become less and less clear.

Can you guess why?

Don't bother--I'll fill in the blanks:

It's because he notices that what he called 'clarity' was his own illusion.

(err..that's how I know I'm having fun)

Bad Memory Is Good Memory For Sleepwalkers...But It's A Pain In The Ass For Would-Be Mystics!

Talkin' about bad memory...When I'm talking to people about This Kind Of Thing..I often forget about all of the hell I went through to -get here-.

Then it dawns on me that -all of that hell I went through- is just another thought from where I stand.
