allegorical highway

Watch out for and ignore accidents on the mental highway. Looking at the car wrecks will likely lead to a crash straight into the sleepy blues. If you ever get involved with the cops, always remain silent because everything you say can be used against you.

grease

The ordinary way to look at new information it is as if it were paper on a page,
while the non-ordinary way to see it is to see what it says about how things work "up there" --in your noggin.

In other words, the simple grease their hair,
while the mystics grease their brains.

here and now

What if "here" and "now" are thoughts that never actually happen--thoughts that don't exist?

Man oh man, would Tolle be in doo doo up to his armpits if everyone on the "Living in the Now" ride were to suddenly realize that...You know--if people saw that they weren't any more in the here and now than they were when they were when they got fired from their job 3 years ago.

If you're game for a strong drink, scratch "What if?" and see what happens.

The Panic of Absence

I'm not here. So I try to fill this absence up with crap.

Crap includes my job, thinking, everyone I've ever met and writing this nonsense.

But the absence behind my face is also in all the crap I use to try and fill it, so nothing actually happens. Nothing I can do about this nothing. It's everywhere and I know it.

Just water pouring into water always.

Admit It

All your spiritual longing, study and learning is nothing more than Great Entertainment.

Nothing wrong. Just call a thing what it is.

Sense of Self

Today, was there a 'sense of self' all day long?

Or is it imposed after the fact?

Right here, there is looking at the screen, thinking 'what is this idiot writing about?' and feelings in your body. Right?

Just consciousness streaming, your unique predicament is just the totality expressing itself. Nothing wrong. No self. Already enlightened.

Looking Out

His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."
