Liberation doesn't mean....

* Eternal bliss
* The End of neuroses and anxiety
*Mystical Visions
*Going vegetarian and meditating
*Writing a book about 'The Now'
*Detachment
* Changing your name to Vishna-nanda-dass-as

But it does mean a total caving in, physically felt by the way, of what was thought to be 'the self'. What is left only resembles what is there before; it hangs together, which is fascinating because there is absolutely nothing holding it there!

This is also true over there. IN-tuiting that this streaming is already happening there is what leads to the Utter Caving In.

Look down...

(there's no floor)

True Love Leaves No Traces

"This question haunted me all my life and suddenly it hit me: 'There is no self to realize. What the hell have I been doing all this time?' You see, that hits you like lightning. Once that hits you, the whole mechanism of the body that is controlled by this thought is shattered. What is left is the tremendous living organism with an intelligence of its own. What you are left with is the pulse, the beat and the throb of life."

U.G. Krishnamurti

Forgetting is Good

You might feel there is something important you have to remember in order to be spiritual or free or enlightened.

But really, it's when you forget all that, forget that you're a person, forget the mellow drama, that truth is realised.
So forget looking to puffed up enlightened 'masters' for help.
Enlightenment IS, many times during the day. Just honor those moments, realise what they are; rest in them. Then when ''personing'' comes back in, ride the coaster. It's all you can do anyway (we're all strapped in pretty solidly).

It's just a question of how much ''you'' struggle.

Perennial Wisdom

"You know Brian, you come from nothing, you're going back to nothing. What have you lost? Nothing!"

Fellow crucifee of "Bryan', Monty Python's Life of Brian.

Stains

Stains on the window of your consciousness can attract your attention; so much so that most of us settle for the occluded view, when what we really want to do is take a brick and smash the grubby window entirely.

Everything, especially what you feel to be a self, is a stain on the window. The whole damn thing is only a kind of greenhouse. Anything you can possibly think of or experience is made of glass.

Brick Walls Break Open Thrown Eggs

The whole damn point of this blog Is that it doesn't fucking work.

That

All is That.

Your frustration right now
The sense of 'yes, but'

Your gut clenching,
the clicking of the fingertip on the keyboard.

This gap in thought,
then this thought.

There is nothing which is not that.

And when this message percolates down, and decodes that which you thought you were,
when 'you' unfurls into the symbiotic one whorl we know as the material, psychologically interpreted universe,
then, while there is no you to be free,
you will be set free forever,

In other words,
everything is bakcground.

These Brains

These brains in our skulls have so much that is pre-programmed.
This one here has lots of anxiety programmed from a nervous Jewish mother, for example.

If you would like to see through the cosmic net, pay as little attention to the machinations of your brain and thought processes as you do the rumblings of your intestinal tract or the sweat pouring through your open pores.

Hopefully the rumblings of your intestinal tract and the sweat pouring through your open pores don't keep you too imprisoned.

If they do, go see a doctor.

For a change...

See whatever is happening as it doing you, rather than 'you' doing it. After this is inseen, the notion of a 'you' doing anything seems like a big joke.

Happens what see ;)

All This is

Is a constellation of isolated sense impression, electrical synapse snaps of the one, eternalovement so remember, don't take it personally.

Death of a whirlpool

The death of a person is just like the ceasing of one whirling pattering of water in the sea before it shapes into another.

Apply this to who you think you are.
(clue: there is nothing that you are not)

All The Way Down

An easy way in:

Notice how there are two ways to breathe:

1) With the sense that there is a remote ''you'' making sure you breathe, pushing and pulling.

2) With the sense of letting the breathing in, and then the breathing out, do what they want to do. Nothing whatsoever needs to be done. Breathing is happening. And it is generally now deeper, tide-like, slower and stronger.

The panic, in some parts of the sea, attendant to step 2) doesn't have anyone behind it either, making it happen. There's just this being experience, all the way down.

Which is the Tao, which is Liberation which is plain and simply just this.

Moody Blues

A mood is a muscular cramp, which, when relaxed, undoes ones' whole monkey grip hold on being. Without mood, one is annihilated and is released into Just This. Which is irreducible and also Nothing Special.

If you want to Be Somebody, better hold on tight.

...But remember, what is holding on is already doomed; there's no one there.

Wave Thou Art

The phrase, That Thou Art or Taat Tvaam Asi is tattooed on my arm, next to my heart.

It reminds me when I forget, that there is no I and there is no real forgetting.

Just wave after wave of phenomena, and nothing outside of that wave. The wave intuits itself. There is no real separation felt anywhere. And yet, of course, I can discern natural distinctions within the wave.

Is this true 'over there' ?
